My campsite at Heritage Village Campground27 viewsI flew into Denver Thursday afternoon and it was about a 6 hour drive up to the Black Hills so I didn't get up there until late that night. But when I woke up Friday morning and looked out of my tent, there was Crazy Horse right in front of me!

The Heritage Village Teepees27 viewsThe campground also had some teepees you could rent. They looked interesting but I was happy with my tent.

Hood Tunnel23 viewsFriday morning I drove over to Sylvan Lake to do a hike up to Harney Peak. This was a tunnel cut in the rock along the way.

Some kids on the trail24 viewsSomebody was taking a group of kids on a hike up to the peak and they were everywhere. But it was fun to see their excitement when they got up to the top. I don't think some of them had ever even been on a trail before.
